Sam Chandler Rumson performs general maintenance work for Canyon Pass Provisions in Fair Haven, New Jersey. Beyond his professional responsibilities, Sam Chandler Rumson also stays actively involved in his community. For four years, he volunteered for the Key Club, an international organization committed to forming servant leaders. This year, the Key Club will host its annual International Convention from July 5-9 in San Antonio, Texas. Their largest event for the year, the convention will bring together members from across the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean to celebrate the organization’s achievements. Sponsors of the Eliminate Project, for example, will provide an update on their efforts to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus worldwide. During the five-day event, participants will listen to talks on servant leadership and discover new groups and charities to work with on future projects. They will also attend sessions where they can share their progress on current projects and discuss fundraising ideas. In addition, attending Key Clubbers will also get to participate in this year’s elections and elect the members of the 2017-2018 International Board.
